Cllr Linda Buchanan serves on the Council’s Licensing Committee and the Southern Planning Board.
Linda is an active councillor who, alongside her Cheshire East responsibilities, also serves on Shavington‑cum‑Gresty Parish Council, representing the Shavington Ward. Linda is a Member of Wybunbury United Charities, contributing to the charity’s long‑standing mission of supporting people in need across the local area. Her involvement reflects her belief in neighbourliness, fairness, and community support.
Linda volunteers to help maintain the flower bed around the Co‑op, working as part of a small team on a monthly rota to keep the space tidy and welcoming. She is an active member of the Shavington Clean Team, taking part in regular litter‑picking sessions to keep the village looking its best. Linda also engages in Parish Council events, supporting activities helping them to run smoothly and remain accessible to all.
