Cllr Alan Coiley works closely with the Council’s Highways and Transport department and represents Cheshire East as the Rail Champion for the western area. In addition, he serves on the Public Transport Consortium, ensuring that Cheshire East’s communities are represented in wider regional transport discussions. His work focuses on improving connectivity, supporting sustainable travel, and strengthening public transport provision for local residents.
As a Crewe Town Councillor, Alan serves on both the Community Committee and the Public Services Committee. Alan’s community work includes being Chair of the Friends of Crewe Park, and as Chair of the ASLEF Train Drivers Union he works with members to support local charities and community projects.
