Cllr Dawn Clark serves on several key areas of Cheshire East Council, being actively involved with the oversight and scrutiny of the Council’s Finance, Corporate Policy, Environment & Communities, and Cared for Children. Dawn is also the Council’s Mental Health Champion and a committed White Ribbon Ambassador, advocating for the safety and wellbeing of women and girls.
Alongside her borough responsibilities, Dawn is an active Crewe Town Councillor. Dawn is Chair of the town council’s Communities Committee and serves on both the Finance & Governance Committee and the Personnel Sub‑Committee.
Dawn’s community work is extensive and hands‑on: she leads The Thursday Club and The Afternoon Club, both supporting the dementia communities in Crewe and Nantwich. Dawn is also the Lead for the Dementia Friends Town Network in Crewe and Nantwich and is a Dementia Champion. She leads on training of Dementia Friends in the Crewe & Nantwich area.
Dawn is currently Chair of Governors at Pebble Brook primary school and has been on the governing body for over 20 years. Dawn served as Mayor of Crewe in 2024-25.
